I have learned a valuable lesson these last couple of weeks...and that is DON'T EFF WITH YOUR COMPUTER UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING.

Yeah. I crashed my system attempting to install something I shouldn't have been installing, but thought I knew enough to make it work. The problem is, I have a few friends who do this kind of thing for a living, and I think I know more than I do. The result was the dreaded screen of death and a week of waiting for new OS software to fix it. Oh, right, I did this butchery to a MAC, which I think is kind of awesome. I broke a mac.

Anyway, I'm back up and running (sort of) and attmepting to recover files that got eaten in the process. So I'm thinking that Red Stripe Beer should make another commercial like the "Don't throw eggs!!" one, perhaps a "Don't mess with your computer!!" or something like "Boo, homemade IT services, hooray BEER!".

Okay, we've reached the point where I'm being stupid now, so there's my story. Ta-daaaah!
