My car is a block of SNOW.

Wed Dec 24, 2008, 7:30 AM
Living in New England means we generally see a lot of snow. I take a train to work, and generally don't use my car that much...and as such, I'm lazy about shoveling it out.

Which means I'm so going to get to my parent's house late for Christmas Eve...The funny thing is the snow comes up to just about my windshield. So it's like my car's looking at me pitifully and making me feel bad about leaving it in it's snowy nest. I'm off to the rescue now.

Have a happy holiday of your choice, friends. And may the animated Grinch bring you loads of opportunities to sing along off key to annoy the crap out of family members! :D

  • Mood: Christmas Spirited
  • Listening to: New Bloc Party
  • Reading: Inkdeath! The cover is purple, oh joy...
  • Watching: HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS
  • Playing: The washing machine, does that count?
  • Eating: Pancakes!!!
  • Drinking: Peppermint Hot Cocoa :D

Just do what my wife did, find some sap to shovel the car out for you. That of course would be me. Seriously though, we got an insane amount of snow this weekend, and it's snowing again right now! Careful, wwatch out for all those mass-hole drivers!

Don't you poppa me girl, I'll poppa you! I quit on you when you ran off to Deetroit with Willie the Pimp!

I am indeed! I LOVE this series...I didn't realize they were making a movie until you posted this, so I had to check it out...and I have no comment about it. I like leaving most of these types of books to books, I have my own idea of what the world looks like, and movies very rarely match what I imagine. Inkdeath, at least, is pretty badass so far :D

Haha, it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be...It only took me about 40 minutes to get it cleaned off. And I am totally thinking about bribing my neighbor to do it for me from now on :P

Christmas was awesome, hope yours was too!!

You know, driving in the snow isn't bad...it's just that people freak out if they start to slide and do EXACTLY what they shouldn't and make it worse. We ended up getting rain (a TON of it) on Christmas Eve, which was awesome with my brother's dogs being there and getting soaked and a bit muddy every time they went out. Which was like every five minutes.

Awesome! Yah after seeing the trailer again, I saw it the first time in theaters (which is why i started reading it), I dont know if i even want to subject myself to Mo finding Inkheart WITH meggie... dont know how they are going to do that.

I cant wait to find out what happens in the books though... I on chapter like 7 or 8 in inkspell.
